…You buy your own adsense ad :). Do a Google search for Alex Raiano and you will see what I am talking about (notice the right hand ad).

Why would I do this you ask?  Why not ;).

Update 01/17/06: I just finished updating TiVoBlog to Wordpress 2.0. I haven’t found any problems as of yet. Being the big geek that I am, I just couldn’t wait any longer ;).
Update: I’ve decided to hold off on upgrading TiVoBlog.com to wordress 2.0 until one of my most favorite plugins fixes a problem it is having with the latest build of wordpress.

I think I may upgrade my TiVo website (TiVoBlog.com) to Wordpress 2.0 tonight. I haven’t upgraded the site yet because I wanted to make sure that I didn’t run into any problems with this site and my family site. I really like the new WYSIWYG editor and the ability to add new categories when you are putting together a post. Also the ability to easily upload pictures is really nice. This would have helped me last night when I put up pictures of the new Series3 TiVo at CES. Stay tuned…

My clothes never showed up yesterday so I guess I need to go to the store and pick up some clothes.  I had hoped that I would receive my luggage last night but it doesn’t look like it is going to happen. The bad thing is that my luggage had three pairs of dockers :(. Damn U.S. Air!

Shell and I sold our house! I can’t believe that it only took two weeks considering the fact that it is probably the worse time of the year to try and sell a house. We’re both very excited to get into our new home!

Tomorrow Shell and I have to go to the new house for the septic and structural inspections. I may take some pictures so check back to see if I post anything….

Our New HouseAfter looking for nearly a year, Shell and I are proud to say that we finally found our next house! Our offer was accepted late last night after going back and forth several times. For awhile, we considered building a house however, once we evaluated all of our options we decided that finding an existing home was the best option for us. We were kind of picky in looking for a house so finding the right one was tough.

Shell and I both think that this house is the one. I’ve always wanted to have a little bit of land and Shell has always wanted a house with an open floor plan as well as enough room to host our entire family and friends. This house fulfills all of those requirements. It has 1.12 acres which is just the right amount of land in my opinion. It’s not too much to mow while at the same time I won’t feel like I’m on top of my neighbors (bye, bye slim-shady). The layout is kind of cool in that there is an addition on the back of the house which provides a dining room attached to the kitchen as well as another living room. Needless to say, Shell and I are extremely excited. Another thing that I like about the house is that it is in a development while at the same time we are out in the country. It’s going to be sad leaving our existing home, however we both knew that there would come a time when we would leave our current home. Now all we need to do is find somebody who wants to buy our current house! For obvious reasons I’m not going to give the address to the house on this site. The house is located in Floyd (Holland Patent schools).

Stay tuned for more updates. I’ll probably provide updates on this site instead of RaianoFamily.net since I don’t want to inundate my family site with personal info. If for some reason you want to know where the house is located, send me an email or contact me via this form.
