Shelly and I brought our parents through the house today. Here are some pics that I took while we went through the house.

My blog dedicated to TiVo was mentioned in this month’s issue of the New York magazine.  I went to Barnes & Nobles to get a copy of it however, for some reason they didn’t have any (the sales associate told me to come back later). If anybody subscribes to this magazine let me know so that I can get a copy of it.

Well, for those of you who don’t know, the house that we found in Floyd fell through. There were problems with the septic test and the owner ended up not wanting to sell his house. Because of this, we almost lost our house due to the fact that we didn’t have a statement in the contract saying that the sale of the house was contingent on us buying a house. So, to make a long story a little longer, Shell and I have been looking like crazy for a house. In the mean time, the people that were going to buy our house backed out so we really weren’t under any kind of pressure……….

Just today we found yet another house! The seller accepted our offer so if all goes well, we should have a house :). Stay tuned!

Thomas Hawk has put together a very cool favicon mashup which depicts the most recent 320 sites that he has visited. TiVoBlog.com is in the first column, fifth row from the top. As a matter of fact, Tom took the time tag the photo with each of the sites that he has visited. Here’s the flickr tag for TiVoBlog.com. Neat idea Tom! If only there was some way to automate this process. I’d like to generate a favicon mashup on a daily basis.

Without feedburner it would be extremely difficult for me to figure out how many people subscribe to my feed on TiVoBlog.com. Feedburner is one of several Web2.0 services that I don’t think I could live without.

Here’s a couple of things that I need to do over the next week or so:

• Finish my taxes
• Help my Mother-in-law, Mother & Brother-in-law with their taxes
• Upgrade each of my wordpress sites (raianofamily.net, tivoblog.com & this site) to Wordpress 2.0.1
• Start training for the Boilermaker
• Update RaianoFamily WPG2 plugin with a couple of bug fixes
• Install a tag cloud plugin for this site and my other sites (Anybody have any recommendations?)
• Clean up my del.icio.us tags. It’s really starting to get out of control
• Keep reading Naked Conversations
• Tell work that I need to take off the 15th for my son’s birthday
• Write a post on this site about the current status with our house
• Post something to raianofamily.net. I’ve really been bad about doing this lately.
• Clean up my bloglines blogroll
• Update the theme on this site
